Tips for Travelling Through Liverpool

The 500 Airlink bus is the most convenient public transport option. It connects to Liverpool South Parkway railway station, which has direct trains to Liverpool Lime Street and beyond.

Look out for the John Lennon statue in the terminal — a popular photo opportunity before departure. The airport's motto, 'Above us only sky', is taken from Lennon's Imagine.

Security queues at Liverpool can be long during peak summer departures. Allow at least two hours for short-haul flights.

Pre-book parking as far in advance as possible. Liverpool's parking prices rise steeply close to travel dates. Book through the official Liverpool Airport website for the best rates.
